Wow, there is allot to unpack here. Okay, first of all he is not "reclaiming " anything ; If he was then he would actively promote small queer content creators but has done zero in that regard ( Those that have less then 10,000 subscribers ) which he pretty much has never done . Just for anyone else reading this person’s needlessly angry post, my content is all posted on my feed (ie no PPV). I then simply suggest that if someone likes a particular video that they could consider leaving a tip. It’s never a requirement nor a necessity (and in all honesty it rarely even ever happens), but when it does it is nice to receive every now and then. I do actually invest a lot of my money and time and effort into producing my content (and I believe it shows in the quality that I have managed to consistently deliver for you guys over the past year) so this is why I say that tips do actually go a long way. But again, never a necessity. Not exactly a ‘desperate’ ask like this person suggests.
I’m just out here trying to be respectful and considerate to my fellow creators in the industry and the people that subscribe to us all and not scam people or gouge people (which is still far too prevalent in this industry) yet sadly so many of you still find things that you try and use to attack.
