It is the same principle in reverse as measuring along an upward reduces length.
I mean the angle of erection if what matters not the curvature. The 2 are not the same thing.

Even with matching erection angles, the guy with the downward curve will "gain" more by measuring along the curve than the guy with an upward curve. You would get basically the same reading measuring along an upward curve than you would with the curve straightened out, not the case with a downward curve. Think banana.

Some measure with loose tape or measure with ruler/tape on the side of their leg or the underside leading from the butthole. Some count curve some don’t. It’s complicated.
I measure 21 cm bonepressed with a ruler but 9 inches with tape as I have a bit of a downward curve.
I could go with the 9 inches but in all reality the more honest and accurate answer in my opinion at least is the one that goes from point a to point b in the fastest and straightest path. That why hard wooden ruler are a good tool to measure with, and tape is best for girth. Although, it doesn’t hurt to know your size with either one tool.
Lex’s dildo is bigger than his actual penis. The dildo is placed on his leg yes, but it’s not far away from the his side at all, visually placed a little closer you could get a decent comparison of his penis and dildo side by side, and the dildo is still clearly bigger by some amount. The dildo is 9 inches, so we could argue he is about 8 or slightly over. This should also be mentioned that this isn’t a fat now Lex but rather a prime Lex.
As mentioned above his whol Dildo including the balls is 9 inches while the inserts or length itself is 8 inches. Does this mean that he really is 8 inches max or slightly over max but no the 8.5 that was pushed for so long especially with that innacurate, incorrectly, and simply odd measurement photo of him on the side with the tape going to his leg and being tilted away from his penis base.
But anyways, his penis appears to be slightly over 8 when compared with a 9 dildo that visually could be placed side by side and still clearly be bigger.

No, it's because when measuring along an upward curve you're measuring the inside curve, and when measuring along a downward curve you're measuring the outside curve. Again, think of a banana.
Right I got confused by your last post but I see you meant what I originally thought and what we were going back forth and about.
So wait a minute you would actually "lose" not gain if it was an upward curve right? It would just be very negligible. I fail to see why the amount you "gain" In the inverse situation with a downward curve would be more than the amount you "lose with the upward curve? Aren't we talking 0.1 of an inch here either way. It's a reciprocal thing. 1 loses and 1 gains both by equivalent tiny amounts.
Here Charlie Mac is measured against a 7.97 Gatorade bottle on the side.
He may be 8 on the side fully erect. Making him 7.75-7.50 on top with thick girth.
My question is: when he is fully erect, does he always have that prominent curve, is it just the way his penis is or is he not fully erect here??
Also what seems to be his girth, he is similar to Chris diamond girth but they both pump, so??

Its hard to call it with these pumpers they have such a huge range. I do know not only is he thick with width also from circumferential girth too. Diamond only has the width and has a stick like dick from the side view

If the bottle was right next to his shaft he’d be .25-.50 less Length as you said but the bottle is sat on his leg. If I place a ruler on my leg and measure my penis I gain 1 inch. If the Bottle was 8 inches with the Bottle placed on his leg he’d be 7 inches but he clearly looks bigger than that.
To be fair Macc doesn’t look fully erect here and his curve doesn’t help, and yes he always has a curve, especially when erect. I’d say in the picture he is 7.4 but if he was fully erect he’d be larger
