"Men Who Mow" -- sounds like an organization, lol.

Now that we're getting into the hot time of year, I was curious to see what men here are like when they're doing that traditionally male role of mowing they're yards or trimming their hedges and other yard work, particularly mowing, since that's the most wide-spread.

ATTIRE:

What's your typical attire? Shorts and a T-shirt? Shorts and shirtless? Long sleeves and pants? Just undies or naked?

How about footwear? Sneakers 'n socks? Sneakers barefoot? Loafers or boat shoes barefoot? Sandals or even flip flops or, heaven help ya, just your bare feet?

EFFECTS:

How sweaty do you get when mowing etc. on a scale of 1 - 10? (1 dry as a bone, 10 absolutely wet drenched through)

Where does your body sweat the most during mowing? Brow, pits, arms, torso (back/chest), crotch, ass, legs, feet? (feel free to scale rate these too, i.e., Brow, 3, back 5, pits 7, feet 10, etc.)

Do you like the physical exertion of mowing and yard work? Does it pump you full of endorphins and feel great? Or do you feel tired out and dragging and just wanna crash with a cold drink?

Let's hear some of your thoughts on mowing, guys.

Pants, don't want anything to fly and hit my legs. T-shirt and maybe a wide brimmed hat. I have to do some weed wacking on edges and around garden beds, etc. too. I get super hot and sweaty, I hate it! But it always feels good when the lawn is all done and I know I don't have to worry about it for two weeks or so. And, no side eye from my neighbors hahaha

That's a good idea about the pants, if guys can take the heat lol.

Forgot to also include underwear in attire. If you mow and do yard work with briefs, boxers, boxer-briefs, or if ya just freeball it and let it all hang out, so to speak lol.

I do mulching and gravel type yard work early in the day, then generally whatever I am wearing i just use for mowing . However 99% of the time that means long thick pants , possibly tee shirt. However if I am weed wacking , i have on long sleeve shirt. I have poison Ivy and ticks, soooo I need to protect my arms.

I am an outdoor person, so yes I enjoy doing the work myself.. as opposed to hiring a landscaper. Granted I have to buy my own equipment; but it is cheaper than 500++ dollars a month for a bi weekly cut and hedge trim

No I do really do not sweat

Usually a good jock under the shorts. Support for yardwork, but don't want swamp ass.

Usually basketball shorts and compression shorts, my old army combat boots, and a t-shirt. If it's hot, I take my shirt off. I sweat a lot. I love doing yard work and I love a fresh cut lawn and I edge it up with a weed wacker.

Tee or sweaty shirtless, bball shorts, and old Army combat boots. I like it. That's a distinctive look!

When using a lawnmower or weedwhacker I usually wear long pants unless it is brutally hot out. In that case shorts are worn, but I make sure I wear calf length socks to offer some protection to my ankle area.
A t-shirt and bucket hat for sun protection are a must.

My property is in the woods, but I have about 2 acres that I mow. Being in the woods, I need some protection against bugs - and a lot of what I mow is in the sun, so I need protection against the sun. Therefore, I wear jeans, no underwear, and a t-shirt, bug spray, and a hat. I usually have a beer or two while I mow. I don’t consider it either exhilarating or boring - just something I have to do. After mowing, I strip completely and go for a swim in my pool.

I wear shorts and a t-shirt and sometimes shirtless. Shoes are old sneakers used just for yard work. Yard is small and I enjoy yard work so I mow the next door neighbor's yard. Last week I cut a lady's yard whose husband is out of town. Her back yard was rocky and one rocketed at my left shin and took out a little chunk. A few summers ago a wasp stung me and sent me to the hospital. I'd been stung and bitten by bugs all my life and never had a reaction. Weird.

Some of you guys wear old sweaty sneakers you use just for mowing. That’s such a guy thing. I’d love to get a whiff of some of those stinky sneaks, sniff that manliness of fellow males. :emoji_thumbsup: Just how I am, lol

I usually wear a t-shirt and depending on the temperature, basketball shorts or jeans. Always commando. I have a zero turn with a soft very comfy seat that makes a satisfying FFFF sound when I sink into it. Most times I have a nice bulge, and often a boner. Occasionally, I have lost my load while mowing.
