Michael Bishop (New Jonathan Kent)

I love Jon and Jay together, they're like unstoplable force meets unmovable object. Also Jay calms and grounds Jon.
Haven't read the comics. Even the one with Ash. Just saw some photos and felt chemistry even without context.

With the exception of the confusing bad boy arc for Jon in season 2, Jon is supposed to be the responsible big brother. Him having a troublemaker love interest like Ash would have the same on screen chemistry as Oli and Felicty imho.

Thing is is he could have that arc with Jay. Jay is literally a revolutionary who led a group in freeing a country from a corrupt government. Even Batman doesn't trust him because of his methods and how he's not afraid to get his hands dirty. Jon is much more likely to fall for someone who causes trouble for altruistic reason than someone who does it out of selfishness, as Ash does.

Also, I'm not talking about you specifically, but the way people started praising Ash for the same things they criticized Jay for initially, I can't help but wonder if the fact Jay is not white while Ash is has anything to do with it.

Definitely not me, didn't know he's not white.

As for me I think it's the resemblance with Corinthian. Especially with that shades on.

You mentioned Jay being a revolutionary, fighting for the greater good. Isn't it just like Superboy but with dirty methods?

A selfish love interest would make a better contrast, and maybe a meaningful character arc for superboy.

As for Michael Bishop, is it already confirmed that they'd make a bi storyline for Jonathan?

They would be canceled if they did that
I think they're close to being cancelled. Anyone else finds the story a bit repetitive? Couldn't move past ep 2 of this season. People are getting powers again. The big bad is another rich businessman experimenting on people. At this rate, I'm just waiting for them to take their shirts off. Shirtless kyle screen time has been a blessing.

This is one of those instances when 2 threads should merge so everyone is on the same page literally and figuratively.
Whcih threads? If you mean Jordan Elsass' then no thanks, that one is full of pointless discussion. We don't need another garbage thread, let's keep this one dry and clean, shall we?
