So as Cinderellalove victor is displayed worldwide. it was on hulu in america, but then for the rest of the world it was on disney+.
regardless of the platform, love victor was a gay show, so even if it had been on netflix, it wouldn't been geo-blocked in countries that don't allow gay content.
michael also had plenty of time and opportunity to make it big during and after love victor, but he still hasn't landed any decent projects. i don't think any of his co-stars have.
but being a main character of disney+ show that's lgbt+, doing lots of photoshoots and interviews, will classify you as mainstream.
mainstream these days doesn't mean landing blockbuster movies. it means being popular online. and michael is plenty popular. any time he has a photoshoot or post a pic/vid, that shit is all over gay twitter and tumblr, just like all the other pretty boys
Netflix has way more subscribers overseas than the others.
It has nothing to do with the gay content. Proof? Kit Connor has 4 million followers because of a gay show... on Netflix
