This pic reminds me of something I was told at some stable years ago: There's nothing wrong with taking your horse out swimming (i.e. out over his head) with you riding him, but that he's working a lot harder than he appears to so it's best to head to shallower water to give him a break even though he doesn't seem to need one.

Something I'll be sure to remember when I finally get to go skinny dipping with a horse.

I wonder what the horse is thinking? Probably “mine is longer”. Then again Derek has some length there also.
