If he's convicted of burglary 1st degree, that's a minimum sentence of 5 years up to 25 in the state of NY. Given his criminal record I wouldn't hold my breath.

If you claim such things you also should provide proof.
It's a fact that he's accused of burglary 1st degree. It's only 1st degree when one of the following apply:
a) armed with a deadly weapon
b) physical injury to a person not involved in the crime
c) usage of or threatening with a dangerous object
d) display of an object that appears to be a firearm
So the things you claim don't add up at all unless he indeed injured the woman. In that case it doesn't fucking matter if he knew her. Btw: did you actually read the article or just the headline?

On a side note: maybe men shouldn't grind on a random girl if it's not mutual
