why don't you guys message him personally and offer to be his pro bono counsel, since he clearly needs help with representation and you guys obviously seem to understand, comprehend and enforce the nuances of his case, trial law and sexual misconduct in the state of New York; rather than circuitously argue about it here for us to suffer through.

You mention him knowing her as if that would be justification. There's nothing complicated about it. On the chance that women do report being victims of sex crimes, they're going to identify who did it.
