It was kind of obvious something was up with Nick at GQMOTY, idk if he was just really tired or sick or had anxiety or what. Looks like it was a pretty crowded event from photos so not that strange that he dipped out.

It would have been nice if they made an effort to get a picture together but one event is hardly proof that they're avoiding each other on purpose? Nick didn't get a photo with anyone else he knew there and barely seems to have done any interviews either.

I agree completely — Nick did just one interview and left, didn’t post any pics with anyone … he really seemed to just go to make an appearance. I think that’s why so many people were trying to figure out if he was contractually obligated to be there meanwhile Taylor did multiple interviews, posted pics with friends, went to an after party etc. I think the story is just that Nick wanted to pop in and out, not that he was snubbing Taylor specifically. I think going from zero content to lots of content (but maybe not exactly what we wanted) has been tough on the fandom, lol. We will get through this guys let’s just hold tight

And I want to add that a lot of fans are under the impression that Babygirl is super introverted, and I don't see it that way at all, lol.

He clearly goes out and has fun, he clearly likes to party, but there's a difference between going to public events and hanging out with your friends.

I guess the accent and his demeanor fools people into believing he's a shy guy, but don't be fooled!

Yeah that exactly. I mean it's fun to make up theories and all but realistically this seemed to be it. And yeah it seemed like they had been in touch about it. Maybe he just wanted to be clear who he meant.

I don't think Nick's super shy or a hermit but he does tend to be a bit awkward at public events when he goes on his own? And yeah he just seemed to have something else going on last night.

That's what I've been thinking too, I think maybe the January rumour was just due to Sundance speculation?

I kind of hope it releases after Mary & George so we can just focus on that for now. I want the promo for M&G to start already, seems like Tony's ready to deliver some fanservice.

Sorry that I'm not ready to shut up about how much I love the costuming on this show yet. And he actually looks so good in those collars and ruffles! I'd happily give up a Kingdom for him.

There’s an element of avoiding shipping too. It’s too easy to roll the characters into real life.

I don’t doubt they were close, doing those scenes requires trust so I will speculate and say there’s no real problem between them.

We see very little of their real lives and there’s no reason to believe they haven’t seen each other or aren’t talking. Acting can be intense, he’s sensible to spend time away from the camera or a red carpet. There has to be separation between the two spheres of his life.

- There’s also a small part of me that thinks it is strange he didn’t take a quick pic with Taylor but that’s an expectation I also think he doesn’t want to fulfil.
