I love how different these past two roles are. Jeff is like the anti-Henry. Is Nick good in it acting wise? The movie in general seems to be getting quite good reviews..

Taylor's thread is longer than Nick's? So strange. I've never looked nor felt an interest in looking. Nick carried the movie. He was alive in each moment, he listened, responded, showed vulnerability, strength, charm, humor, sadness and joy. He seemed twice as alive as most people - that extra vitality that many movie stars have. He brought us into Henry's heart.

Taylor is obviously the sexier one, and him being gay gives him an edge on attention. Nick is the more successful one but he’s more private so there’s less banter about him
it wasn’t confirmed the close up was a body double, it just doesn’t appear to be his body. But yeah he shows his full chest very briefly in his roles but never got a long period of time.

This is totally personal, ofc, but I dont think TZP is sexier than Nick, but they did show him that way in the movie.
I was so upset with the clothing. Those english suits looked so weird, the american suit are way better fit (?) elegant, dont know how to explain it in english, but when Henry surprised Alex in that Hotel, he seemed almost chubby with such a big ass.

They put Nick in traditional royal dress. Double breasted suits are typically seen as upper class and for the wealthy. It was an obviously deliberate costume choice to visually show the difference between Alex & Henry. Alex, in his laid back, fitted, sexy suits. Henry in his stuffy, old fashioned, old money suits.
Why are we so convinced Nick hates his body? I don’t think he seems insecure in the movie? He’s acting, he was probably told exactly where to put his hands in each scene?

Agree. The UK suits were awful, whereas Taylor look sleek and sharp af. The uk suits worked well for Henry’s character though, he’s suppose to be buttoned up, high society. I kinda wish they would have changed Henry’s attire though for the final scenes and had him a bit more American/fun

I know it was because of that (the suites I mean) but this contribuited to show him less sexy than TZP. And always with tie, and dont get me started with that wig. I cant watch those scenes with the wig.
And Im not convinced at all, but somebody said some pages back that he had said something about body dysphoria, and because of that he was always using shirt and a double to that scene.
This thread really held on the the double thing I pointed out. To be clear, idk for sure if a double was used for that scene or not. And as someone pointed out, doubles are pretty standard for stand in shots and things. But I don’t remember seeing something that said “double for mr Zakhar Perez” in the credits so idk
But is it a double? Do we know this or are we just making assumptions based on him not showing as much skin as Taylor. Henry is meant to be reserved, not very confident etc.. we aren’t watching Nick. We are watching him play Henry?
Also, it’s almost certainly not Nick driving that Bond car at that beginning. I imagine that’s where the double is from.
