I don't think he is either tbh but if he takes ONE more queer role I'm gonna need GLAAD to do an official investigationTo be fair, we don’t know if he’s straight but seems likely he is. He’s tweeted about being an ally, which kinda says it all. He doesn't ping at all for me. I think the only reason anyone questions his sexuality is because he’s on his 3rd queer role. Nothing wrong with that but it leads to the obvious question!
Josh o'connor is shaking (but I really believe that Josh's in some letter of queer realm)I don't think he is either tbh but if he takes ONE more queer role I'm gonna need GLAAD to do an official investigation
He's cute but he really gives zero sexual energy or personality.
At this point he's being type cast but hey it's work.I'm pretty sure he's filming a show called "Mary & George" with Julianne Moore. He just started following the director (Oliver Hermanus) and it started filming this week. If true, he's playing gay again!

technically "challenges" is the key word for those who work with acting, him playing another gay means absolutely nothing. regardless of your sexuality, this is called professionalism.Oh good spot. I hope you are right, I’m a bit of history nerd, my kinda movie! I will laugh if he’s playing yet another gay character again. I’m gay & I have zero problems with straight actors playing gay characters but I do raise a comical eyebrow when straight actors play multiple queer roles.![]()
Nah it's called unable to book the roles you want so you take all the gay ones cause producers want to fuck you.technically "challenges" is the key word for those who work with acting, him playing another gay means absolutely nothing. regardless of your sexuality, this is called professionalism.
at this point it's a bit curious... Like there's no sweeping it under the carpet, the next journalist that interviews him better question him on the topic of gay characters at least. I do believe straight actors can play gay but most gay actors haven't even had opportunities to play this number of gay characters in such a short period. I'd love to hear his thoughts bc his ratio of gay characters to straight is definitely oddI don’t think him playing his 4th queer role means anything either. I’ve followed him for years & he calls himself an ally, so presumably he’s straight. I still raise an eyebrow at him doing it though. It’s acting sure, but 4 roles in a relatively short career so far. I have my own thoughts on that. Others are welcome to their own options.
But you carry on Nick. There’s a minor link to RWRB with this. Henry discusses George Villiers as an important gay figure with Alex. I like that.
