Never officially announced, but it feels like it
I saw an interview he did not too long ago about him getting punched in the subway by a crazy guy. Yikes. That sounds like a couple that is having some issues, and Nic publicly stating that may have just exacerbated the issues. I hate gossiping about shit I don't know, and since I loved them as a couple, I wish they were able to work it out, but it definitely feels like they didn't.

IDK but the movie is based on a real person (Nate Williams) who is a Christian. But it doesn't seem to be some kind of propaganda movie or anything. It's mostly just an uplifting inspiration story about overcoming childhood trauma. Nic could have easily been attracted to this script based on those uplifting themes and not necessarily the religious aspect.Wait, is Nic a bible thumper?
