For the record, my issue is with the perceived lie (perceived because he claimed his contract prevented him from keeping other sources of income, but he kept running his cameo). If he'd just said he was uncomfortable continuing it, I'd have totally respected that.

yeah. i mean, i understand him wanting to give an excuse that was sorta bullet proof. like when someone asks you to hang out, but you don't want to, so you need to make up a reason that's pretty solid, like having something already planned with someone else, a family member is the usual go to, so that way they won't ask to join. but saying his contract didn't allow him to make any income from other sources was a bit much. even if he didn't want to straight up say "i can't do it anymore because of my career", he could've just said his filming schedule would make it harder for him to be consistent with content so he'd rather end it than have people pay and get nothing

Did he ever encourage people to subscribe? If I recall he didn’t post it on any of his socials. It just popped up and he posted on it.
