Agreed! Can you lot take your essays somewhere else, please? I don't think anyone other than you two gives a flying fuck. This website has a DM option. Use it.
Chi F Lil Nas. He's worse than Choppa ever will be in life. That’s what y’all get. Y’all sit around and tear down Lil Nas X, a dark chocolate attractive gay man but wanna give these clowns clout. So that’s on y’all.
Finally, someone who is of the intellectual capacity to understand that his message was about his journey and what he endured from people. This man has a whole gay brother that he loves tremendously. So how on earth would he be doing anything against the community that his brother belongs to? This man is smarter than most people on his age group. It’s important to actually watch the video before going on a tirade.
The title is clickbait. It’s his (poor) attempt at being metaphorical.
The concept of a “humiliation ritual” is a conspiracy theory that dusty homophobes use to attack LGBTQ people, by suggesting that evil powers are forcing men to be humiliated.
In this case, however, NLE has spun that idea and is suggesting that his god encouraged him to be free as possible, and that he faced humiliation from people to do it, but that it was all “divinely inspired” to help him learn to be free and fearless. Problematic, but not implying what you think it is.
He’s not attacking LGBTQ people, nor does he even focus completely on the LGBTQ-adjacent things that he did. He mentions the Slut Me Out songs he did, photo shoots he did, the videos he did, the rap songs he released, the fact that he wasn’t featured on some list of popular new rappers, among other things as all part of the “humiliation” he feels he endured. He feels that EVERYTHING he did in 2024, even stuff outside of the LGBTQ adjacent things, caused him to be humiliated by “haters” and he feels that god pushed him to do this so that he could learn to be fearless.
He even reaffirms his desire to show love to LGBTQ people, and to let LGBTQ people know that he loves them and supports them (which makes sense because his blood brother is a feminine gay man). He also says he’s committed to continuing to show the support he has shown and do what he has done.
Now, there’s a couple things you can critique about this video: his wild religious hypocrisy, his clear narcissism and egomania, his inability to eloquently express himself, his very clear untreated mental health issues (such as the bipolar & identity disorder issues he mentioned and some of his clear delusions), and the ongoing struggle he has with accepting himself amidst the stereotypical image demands his career & community place on him. You could also take issue with the problematicness of the metaphor he chose.
However, the video was not an attack on LGBTQ people NOR did he, at any point, take back any of what he did. In fact, he says he’s going to keep doing it.
Now it took him 50 minutes of rather uneducated Southern rambling to make that point, and a rather problematic metaphor, but that was the gist of what he was saying.
Damn. It’s important to actually watch the video before going on a tirade.

Basically less dickriding of “DL” celebs or celebs in general. Either way he is intentionally misusing his words trying to get attention or popularity from LGBTQ community. That coming out thing was weird lol
Yah he ain’t new to this. He was most likely gay baiting for noodles before he was famous. They all start somewhereWell i have a picture of his dick from his early day on OF before he decided to trick the gays in hoping to see it

Damn.
I'm sorry. I literally just saw the original LPSG post and I just felt angry and saddened I guess and needed to vent about in a sense without even watching the yt video, so yeah...
Also, thank you for clarifying, and you're right, it IS important to actually watch the video before going on a spreading this shit. I'm just so freaking dumb for involving myself in this whole mess in the first place. Certainly NOT doing it again. Unironically feeling pretty bad about myself rn. Fuck me man.
I’m with that, but the switch is what I can’t get with! I like my gay guys gay, straight man straight and etc. just don’t try to tap dance on my intelligenceThese straight dudes got bills. They will be an ally all day as long as it’s profitable. It’s okay to wanna fuck this nigga but he’s not some damn gay icon

I’m sorry but we’ve really gotta stop with the they have a black friend” or “they have a gay sibling” narrative lol. Literally means nothing. Finally, someone who is of the intellectual capacity to understand that his message was about his journey and what he endured from people.
