Personally, I don't see an issue with his family being there all the time. They're close, hell even the Grandparents are there traveling on the road sometimes. His Mom quit her job to be his manager before he blew up. All the money moves are made by her, because that is what she did professionally before becoming his manager. Mama Potts don't play at all & will gather fans about her baby! When he reach a certain level of maturity he'll cut the strings. We have to remember he wasn't of age when he became famous so his family being there is normal for him & is probably what is keeping him out of trouble.
