So while this isn't a horror film, I feel compelled to bring this one up anyway (especially since I have a personal attachment to this movie). When I was around 5 or 6, my dad (who loves action films btw) was watching Rambo 2, and when I saw the scene of Sylvester Stallone half-naked and covered in mud, it made me realize what being gay was. Oh Stallone is always spectacularly stoic. Where Arnold or Dolph would screw their faces up in mad fury, Sly does that droopy eyelid thing and looks a treat to torture. I always envied that Soviet in Rambo 2 although I would have also toyed with Rambo's libido too.

One of the reason some find these scenes sexy is that is what the director intends. The victims are often shot in a sexy way, without looking sick or pale. Usually little or no blood or puke or other nasty results of real torture. It's not SUPPOSED to look like REAL torture ... it's stylized, sexy, cleanish ... in other words SM. I do like these film scenes more than most SM porn because they are at least attempting to stylize their fake torture to be real torture.
