hey, I'm just now getting on here for the first time in a while and wanted to let you know that I clicked around and checked out the interviews and who wrote them... right after the episode in which Buck and Tommy broke up, there was a Lou interview done with the site Fangirlish where it's implied in the text of the article (not in what Lou said), that Tommy is likely not coming back. Lou's actual words are pretty neutral, he says he'd love to come back and he hopes his schedule allows it. Turns out the woman who wrote the article is a diehard Buddie shipper and had tweeted right before the interview that she can't stand "Tommy fans." I know it sounds incredibly unprofessional, but I think she skewed the outlook in her article for her rabid Buddie fans on Twitter. And she does seem exactly that unprofessional in her work.Seemed like the classic “stoic character pulling away out of fear of getting hurt” romcom plot to me. Usually this is like an act three thing and then they get back together and the stoic character apologizes for running away.
This comment makes sense from someone who's repeatedly insisting in this thread that Buddie is going to happen, even though Ryan literally just opened an interview by fucking praying with some weird conservative woman, lolAnyways, I hope we do get to see Buck move on from Tommy for 8B. Hopefully, we see him move on from that emotional attachment just because it was the first guy he dated. I actually think it would be great if his next love interest was another guy that is younger and attractive (probably better if played by an actual gay man) who he has actual chemistry with.
lol, i'm surprised you said this in particular because literally all of your posts in the oliver and ryan threads are about how buddie is happening soon and eddie's going to come out as queer because ryan repeatedly saying he's straight, and him pivoting to being a conservative christian, apparently means nothing. that's embarassing man. you're right in this, you're starting half the stupid discussionsdon’t y’all get tired of having the same arguments over and over again?
mind you i have maybe three comments about that total and just as many saying how ridiculous the constant infighting is - giving my opinion a few times and arguing for pages worth of a thread are not the samelol, i'm surprised you said this in particular because literally all of your posts in the oliver and ryan threads are about how buddie is happening soon and eddie's going to come out as queer because ryan repeatedly saying he's straight, and him pivoting to being a conservative christian, apparently means nothing. that's embarassing man. you're right in this, you're starting half the stupid discussions

My comment had nothing to do with Buddie or Ryan yet YOU brought both up. Tommy/Lou stans need a reality check. I can root for Buddie while still acknowledging that it might just not happen and hope for a love interest that’s WAY better than Tommy. This comment makes sense from someone who's repeatedly insisting in this thread that Buddie is going to happen, even though Ryan literally just opened an interview by fucking praying with some weird conservative woman, lol
They aren’t…They just want to spread their anti-Buddie agenda by attacking Ryan in his thread then jumping over here.don’t y’all get tired of having the same arguments over and over again?
Don't imagine he'll be thinking much about Tommy with Eddie leaving. Should be fun to see if he jumps into dating while dealing with that.Anyways, I hope we do get to see Buck move on from Tommy for 8B. Not only will Eddie "leave", Maddie, Buck's sister, will also be gone for a while, most likely the rest of the season after her "exit". Jennifer Love Hewitt will be filming the sequel to "I Know What You Did Last Summer" starting this month, December 2024, which should take several months. So most of the important people in Buck's life are or will be gone, his boyfriend, his best friend and his sister. Not surprisingly, he will do something to distract himself from losing so many people in his life.Don't imagine he'll be thinking much about Tommy with Eddie leaving. I agree, but sometimes with abandonment issues. When it's triggered severely, can cause some major regression into old/bad coping mechanisms. And he won't have his regular support system. As hot as that could be, Buck has grown so much from that.
