I also agree with you. And that's why I think.
This time if his abandonment issues get triggered this should be the last time to that extent, that he can grows past it by himself. So he's not relying on the 118 and his sister or a romantic relationship to center him.
And that all he needs is himself.. I think everyone wants him to go from having an anxious attachment style to a secure attachment style. (I hope im making sense)
