All views are of course welcome, but I am fairly certain almost equating circumcision to death is taking a very exaggerated view, which is quite hard to substantiate in the absence of solid evidence. Plenty of men have been circumcised as adults due to non-medical reasons, myself included, and the experience is far from traumatic, while the outcome is not debilitating, in many cases on the contrary. Whatever scientific research there is on the matter hardly takes such an extreme view either against or for circumcision and I do not remember ever reading something as terrifying as what you described.

I get it we all get emotional over some things, but let’s not make it sound as if our friend here has decided to amputate his arm; let’s try and keep things sensible.

I didn't compare it literally to death. My point is that losing the most sexually sensitive part of this penis is like death in the sense that sexuality is one of the most important thing for a person's happiness and the enjoyment of life. You lose a huge part of the reason why living is even worth it.

I did the same thing this year due to phimosis and man what a journey it was! Get ready for painful nocturnal erections from night 1 to peeing in all possible directions for couple of days. Would I do it again? WITHOUT THINKING. I've done it in Croatia and my doctor advised me not to have any sexual activity for 3 weeks, which is a bit short. I was trying to keep my hands to myself as long as possible, and when I first came it went all over the place, the orgasm was so intense like I just lost virginity again lol. That being said, I'm not letting anyone near my penis for at least 3 months. I'm very protective of my new beast
