After bandage off, of you wrap your penis in elastoplast, cover at least half of head with it. Th ereason is that if you get erection, the glans will take some of the load so your skin/scar won't bear full stretch force.
Note: some swelling is good (process designed to let bloofd flow to all areas of wound. However, on penis, swelling tends to exagerate and that isnt good because it makes the scar area in a weird shape that makes it harder for the process to build the scar. (thick skin on either side, narrow scar in between).

Are you having problems with boners breaking the stitches?
Yes! Boners do still happen - but the stitches are deliberately stretchy enough. Doc made sure of that. He made sure I was erect during part of the surgery, to make everything flexible enough and not too tight.
So far so good!
@Frozen Heart It was done due to tight/short frenulum which is just as relevant a medical reason as any, I have the same situation and it causes frequent tearing, the doctor noticed scar tissue immediately on examination
