I don’t understand how Michael Tempesta and DanTheestud and other creators in LA have regular collabs and charge NO PPV but he does. Most people aren’t interested in a whole 20-30 minute production; they just want to get their nut and go.Some new explanation from Cole Connor that explains the mindset behind PPV some creators have:

DamnWhy it gotta be ppv

Gotta make the content earn some. It’s worth it. Eventually I will put it up as one of my free wall post full scenes. But it might be a while before that. Autorenew subscribers get 30% off videos all the time!

You're not wrong, I'm just a little frustrated since the 6$ sub is already worth 35$ of my money and there's also the ppv fee. But I will patiently wait.

I’m trying to be good to my subs and give them a lot of value. But it costs money to make high quality content and giving everything away for just the subscription price was not working for me. I try to keep PPVs very reasonable. Nothing over $21.

I can confirm that the scene is worth it. And yes, Cole's PPV are reasonably priced with discounts for subscribers. Well we probably cannot afford every PPV, we can choose those within our budgets. Cole is very upfront about prices, and a total sweetheart.

Thank you! I appreciate the love! I also put 5-10 scenes up on the wall for your enjoyment that I’ll be updating and adding to for your enjoyment!

This is what I suspected. Making the entirety or almost entirety of the content available for the subscription price alone may not profitable enough for some content creators. That may be because of all the fees (incl. transportation and accommodation) required to make that content. And I guess that the PPV model is allowing them to make a return on investment despite losing some subscribers in the process.
But then again, some other popular creators such as Jonah Wheeler, Romeo Davis, Manuel Skye, Nate Stetson, Leander or Justin the Jock have no or only occasional PPV/presale and seem to still have a sustainable business model.
At those prices, he’d be better off paying a hosting site and putting them up on his own subscription based website. I definitely look at him differently now because of that price gouging.
And his weird fake BFE messages when I said I’m not buying his PPV was so weird. Couldn’t he spend that time editing or filming?
