I know we've mentioned it before but jrtwunk's promoter that has since taken over his Instagram somehow found a way to break the algorithm so that even after you have viewed his story, he continues to appear at the front of your stories timeline.

so i actually used to be best friends with yourguykb. we were friends for about two years and i can confirm that everything posted on his accounts is completely fabricated and pure management. all of the “storytimes” on tiktok, x, etc. are all false. he literally had a girlfriend for the first year i knew him and i was the first person he came out to. his onlyfans took over his life and his management team practically owns him and makes him do “bundles” every day and he was never able to do stuff on his own time. they would make him do stuff he was uncomfortable with and they also took a majority of his money. all the messaging and chat systems are ran by a team that trains to message like “yourguykb” would and none of his social media platforms are even ran by him.

Its a lot of work on the backend and not everyone is cut out to be that type of person. I'm cool with using an agency to do a lot of the work. What I don't like is when they use the agency/bots to pretend they are the ones engaging with the member/fan.

The smart ones would be the ones that do the engagement themselves. Its more work and the messages would be more condensed into a shorter time period, but in the long run the benefit for them would be massively better. Long term thinking vs short time gain mentality. One thing I am happy for now, is that the engagement issue is becoming widespread and it will punish those that lie to their fans, and reward those that legit engage with their fans.
I think also helping is that the agencies are become by shittier and easier to spot beyond the initial signs of being active 24/7

I mean, tbh, it's annoying, but it's understandable. Given that some of them have hundreds or even thousands of subs and/or fans, it's normal that they will hire an agency to keep selling their stuff.

I have a career that pays and has paid six figures for the last decade or so. I don't have a secretary or assistant. There are clients I often reject because I know the pay won't be worth it, but I would never take on the additional work and hire a staffer to deal with it.
If these people need to hire someone to do their job, they shouldn't accept the work. It simply means they don't know how to manage their time.
