Never really listen to much country songs, bits and pieces here and there. But Daytona Sand is on repeat mode on my phone! Catchy as hell and kinda sad too....
I didn't love his debut album, but his 'Show Pony' EP and now 'Bronco Chapter 1' EP (haven't listened to Chapter 2 yet) have been much better for me. He has a great voice and a pretty nice body too I have to say.
Everyone knows his real name/identity is Daniel Pitout though so even though the mask makes for some cool branding it's kind of outdated for its identity-shielding purpose.

It is about branding like you mentioned. I think about Trixie Mattel's makeup and Andy Warhol's sliver wigs. Marilyn Manson's real name is Brian Warner but the name is part of the concept and branding of the man and the band.

. Thing is, I think if you have a mask even as part of your branding hiding was a part of it at least at some point. Just like Sia who'd performed at one point with her face, it's too late for Orville, that's all I meant.

He has a distinct brand (as we've already discussed ), his music and video production is very high quality and he's done some high-profile collabs already (with Shania Twain and Norman Reedus to appear in his latest video). I feel like all the elements are there. I'd fully expect his audience to mostly stay country fans, but I mean, will he build an at least decent crossover?

Bro's vocals have gotten better and better. His music as well. I think he's got a positive career boost coming.
