I fit easily into most TP tubes. It makes my thumb look huge ( it isn't ) when in proximity and It looks thinner than 99% of the dicks you see online. From my time spent here I have noticed at least from pics I seem to be more comparable in appearance to the guys who are more in the 4.5" or below range especially when viewed from the top down. Maybe most dicks are more of an oval than me so they are actually wider than me so they appear thicker. It is rare that I see one that is the same girth and it doesn't appear significantly thicker. You hit nail on the head here. The whole concept of pencil dick, big dick, average, dick, and so on is bit of a paradox in that, is one’s determination based on measurement or optics? You mention that, for you, it’s appearance/optics. For me, it’s more the actual numbers.
I’m big “down there” but don’t look it. Primarily because I’m a big guy overall (250+ lbs here, big frame, etc.), so my cock size is often underestimated.
Neither your way or my way are more right than wrong; they’re just our preferred perspective/stance on things.
But I think that there is there difference in how folks overall classify a cock as big, thick, average, pencil-thin, or whatever really needs to be taken with an element of a grain of salt.
