Photo of the day !!

Took these two on my way into work on Thursday.
This river divides the county between "Men Of Kent" and "Kentish Men". I'm one (the former) but have to venture across the river into the territory of the other (the latter) five days a week. Now, where's my passport.....

Here we go yet again. M2V with snaps of his same old spot. I know!
But I cross the river five days a week. And at certain times of the year (Nov-Feb being one of them) you're afforded a half-decent view on some days.

Thursday 6th Feb:

Same old spot. Yet again. I know.

But let's put tonight's pics into context......Yes, it's winter. And, yes, at these latitudes we're used to two or three days on the trot with not a glimmer of sunshine. Particularly at this time of year. But we've just come through SEVEN consecutive days with nothing but uniform, slate grey skies. No sign whatsoever - for a whole week - of that ball of fire that gives us life. Things finally changed yesterday.....and I had to take pics to prove to myself I wasn't witnessing a mirage!
