I like the exuberance of the boys captured in this photo. The sheer, carefree joy that comes with youth... before the concerns of adulthood steps in.
I do wonder why the boy on the right has one shoe on though.

That looks like an eggplant/aubergine.

I was told that eggplants were named such because originally they were round, like eggs, and were much lighter than the purple ones we see these days.
