We took another drive yesterday, and of course.. he let me take all the pictures of all the flowers I found.

These cactuses usually have yellow flowers, at least from what I remember. When I saw this my heart melted in my chest cavity. IMG_20200525_104224154~2.jpg

It depends on where you are (for example national parks you can't) and the species.

This type is very common and we weren't on federal or private land, so we just took a branch and I'm propagating it in my garden. ❤️

Used to think of myself as an amateur photographer when I was younger. Haven't touched DSLR in a while sadly. The following was taken years ago at four different locations.

Lion: Colchester Zoo
Elephant: Colchester Zoo
White Tiger: Longleat or Paignton Zoo
Seal: Torquay
Passion Flower: My garden at the time

Clifton Suspension Bridge, a tribute to Isambard Kingdom Brunel. He designed the bridge but didn't live long enough to see it realisedView attachment 17151351
Did u kno?

The Clifton suspension bridge was designed in the neo-Egyptian style and was originally supposed to be covered with sphinxes and obelisks, hieroglyphics and the like. Mercifully the project ran out of cash and we're spared some accretion of quaint Victoriana. The pared-down construction we see today is the result.

You can still see the shape of the towers mirrors the classical Egyptian "pylon" style of towers, like this...
