What sort of cut do you have

Yikes someone didn’t maintain a circ
This is way to common - I've seen a lot of this in pics online anyway. Anyone with a skin bridge should consider getting it removed - pretty minor procedure - would likely make things more comfortable.

A little discussed adverse side effect of circumcision.

Parents probably didn’t pay attention. Perhaps they figured zero maintenance.

You are exactly right, I had one til I was in my 40's it was located perfectly and I always thought it was just natural as no one EVER said a word about it, my Dick Doc wife finally cut it off during some surgery and I was pissed to wake up and discover it, but shocked later to discover in time it had released my head and I had gained 1/8th to 1/4 inch. Still pisses me off, not being asked, but yes, it's a mother or father not properly tending to it in the begging

I’ve seen pics of guys with a ring through the skin gap.
I had bladder neck surgery years ago; fixed scar tissue that made me pee slow. Anyway the urologist (happened to be Jewish) said “I’ll just ask once, do you want a circ while you’re under anesthesia?” The look I gave him! And an emphatic NO!

Yes mine some how was centered so perfectly I could have easily worn one with my PA at the time, just never gave any thought to it til it was gone

I was circumcised as an adult 7 years ago (age 30).

I had developed micro-scars at the tip of my foreskin which would get less elastic and started to itch.
The surgery was my first real surgery. I had visited an urologist and he immediately suggested to have it taken off. He said the condition would only get worse and that my frenulum was also a bit short.

He praised the procedure and said that he never heard a complain, and that it would be medically beneficial and that I would also last longer. I got an information pamphlet and got time to read it. When I came back, he drew a penis on the backside and drew the scar line on it and said that the result would be like the American or Jewish version. It was really convincing and I had surgery two days later.

From what I can tell, the shaft skin was maintained and sewn together with the remaining inner skin around 1 cm behind the glans. The frenulum was sewn into the inner skin, there were a lot of bumps on the underside, which later would get even.

After the surgery, it took around 11 to 14 days for the stitches to fall off (I removed some of them). The fren area took around 4 weeks to not bleed anymore. After that I started to have sex again. The skin is movable and the result looks a bit like modern, more loose high cuts that a lot of younger guys have.

The result changed a bit over time, since the scar tissue takes years to get fully even and adjust.

At the beginning, the scar ring and the frenulum scar would be a bit thicker and hyper sensitive, so I would basically masturbate but moving the scar ring up and down, which would lead to a lot of sensation. Blow jobs would sometimes be too intense and penetrative sex because of the scar tissue. The remaining inner skin was also very sensitive und would easily get a bit chaffed. In general, it felt a bit different, but it wasn't less intense than being uncut because of all the scar tissue.

Over the years, the scar ring as well as the fren scar tissue slowly disappeared. Now the skin is very even, I cannot tell the difference between the inner skin, the fren area or the shaft skin for most of the time. The glans and inner skin have full keratinized. Since there is no scar ring anymore, I don't have any grip on that area anymore when I masturbate. I have enough skin to move, but it doesn't really lead to more sensation. So I usually have to lube my head a bit and activate the nerves to get hard when I jack off.

I guess I know now what a RIC cut feels like. When I receive a BJ or have penetrative sex, the focus now is on the head of the penis. The glans and the rest of the penis have become as (un-)sensitive as the rest of my skin now, maybe even less sensitive. Any sexual activity is more like a massage of the penis. If I want to cum the former fren area is essential.

I need much more friction and the sex and BJs are usually very rough. And I had to learn to grow hard without that extra stimulation of the foreskin or the scar ring. The sensations now are much milder but they also feel gentler and clearer. While I could influence the hardness by moving shaft- or foreskin before, it's all in the head now. And I really need to zone out a bit to maintain the erection and reach orgasm.

The consequence is that I've become a bit more self-centered and less reciprocal during sex. Maybe a bit dumb. I'm more dominant now and like the girl to be more submissive - since I have to concentrate more on being in tune with my dick. Sex without receiving oral is unthinkable now, the nerves have to be activated and I don't get random hard-ons anymore.

Stimulation comes from hard bursts only. If I try to fuck gently I don't feel a lot. I need more dirty talk. I need to breathe and moan more. I also have to relax my face, which leads me to make silly grimaces especially when I cum (cut guys now what I'm talking about). It also helps when I or my partner touch my nipples.

Circumcision really messes with your brain a bit. I really like how it is right now, but it definitely is a completely different experience. And I do understand those critics that say circumcision alters your body and sexuality. You need more effort to activate the nerves in your penis.

Sexually, it makes things very uncomplicated but also more primal. You stick it in and get it done. Or you lube and massage it and get it done. There are not many alternatives. If you're not in the mood there's not much that can be done (besides, maybe, relaxing and getting a BJ). The sensations are also very linear. It's very one-directional - you run towards a goal. There's not much room for innuendo (which as a slightly insecure person was always a challenge for me when having sex with women).

But it also changes the bodily sensation in many ways. Right after the procedure, I felt much more naked, even when fully clothed. Now that I have gotten used to it, I can't even imagine that I had a foreskin once. The genital area feels much more like another part of the body that can get sensitive if you manually stimulate it (a bit like the nipples).

Before the procedure, the genital area felt like it had its own brain and was hyper sensitive. It also had a strong odor and needed constant attention to hygiene during the day. Now all the attention has been redirected to the brain, the penis doesn't have a life on its own anymore and you don't have to clean it differently than the rest of your body.

So the pleasure comes more from enjoying the situation and using the penis as a tool. It's definitely a different experience than before, a simpler one. And a lot of unpleasant sensations (there are so many parts of the foreskin that can get problematic: the outer skin, the tip, the inner skin, the area behind the corona, the frenulum) are gone now.

I sometimes wonder how guys feel who were circumcised after birth. I guess their penis always felt that way, and that there's not a lot to explore in puberty. It's just figuring out how to use it basically. But there is also far less potential to get worried about your dick. I really like that aspect, the simplicity. It is what it is.
