Now that gender no longer is a factor in the naming of those in line to the throne, where does the Princess Royal place? or did the change in linage succession, not affect those already born?

I don't think it applies retroactively, only to royals born after the law was made.

No, it isn't retrospective.

The Princess Royal (Anne) now stands at number 11.

And actually, the changes are far from done and dusted and have to be approved by the parliaments of each of the countries where the Queen is head of state, sixteen... might take a while, even if you could get them all to agree.

I maintain a vital interest in the royal's cut/uncut status. The Queen's boys are all cut, public record. Diana didn't like the idea, although the only dick she got was cut dick Chuck's on 3 occasions, Dody repeatedly. Several years back, there was a news report that William unexpectedly went into (the) hospital for what was euphemistically called a "hernia operation." Maybe he had a hernia, but it's a good bet that he knelt down to the Queen's wishes. Hope so, anyway. I wouldn't have minded cutting the royal pubes before the procedure. (Wonder if they are stored in the V&A museum, somewhere...)
