Do we think Djokovic really left the grounds without being given permission first? I’d be shocked if he would risk getting defaulted in his attempt to win all four slams in a row for the second time, especially when he was only losing by one break. The tournament director says the players had already been told that play was called off for the day when he left, but a lot of people on social media don’t seem to believe that and think he was just doing damage control.

Don’t we think Thiem would be complaining if Djokovic had really left before play was called? He posted on Instagram that the match will resume at noon tomorrow, but didn’t complain or anything.
