I wouldn't bother Thomas, those who have Novak have been brainwashed and are never going to see him any other way. People forget how loved he was in the early days when he was doing his impressions etc. Then he broke up the Federer Nadal domination and everything changed.

How do you know Djokovic is a full on jackass? Have you met him? Because he has never show himself to be. He is always extremely gracious in defeat and even applauds his opponents when they hit incredible shots. Meanwhile, Kyrgios has definitely shown himself to be a jackass on multiple occasions, including throwing a teenage girl under the bus during a match by saying that his friend had banged her before Wawrinka. Talk about classless. And in the same interview where he went off about Djokovic, Nadal, Verdasco, etc., he said he didn’t think he went over the line when he mentioned that personal info about Donna Vekic.
seeing as how the 30 something Wawrinka left his wife and child for the teenaged girl, he doesn't smell like a rose in that story either.....

I know! I love Stan and his game. He’s so cute. Leaving his wife when she had just giving birth to their baby for a teenage female player was classless though. How could he do that?

Has ever talked about that btw?

not sure- everyone was so pissed at Kyrgios that it kind of blew over- what Nick did was definitely prick worthy, but, it was true.....

I loathe Kyrios more than anyone. I hate, hate, hate him so much. He’s so rude and so unprofessional. I love cheering against him. He’s a pos

Honestly this is what turned the narrative of him being a villain in the sport. He really can't do or say a lot of things without it being spun as a negative or him acting out. I'll never forget a press conference a while ago in one of the slams where he lost, someone asked if he was injured or why he took an injury time and he answered it well. And only thing the media put in the headline was he was he claimed to be injured in the defeat.

Yes, I agree, but that doesn’t change the fact that it was WAY over the line to bring Vekic into it, and yet Kyrgios doesn’t think it was over the line. You seem to keep missing the points of my posts, or wanting to play devil’s advocate.

We don’t know if what Nick said was true. He never said that Stan was too old for Vekic. That’s not what he taunted Stan with. He said, “Kokkinakis banged your girlfriend. Sorry to tell you that mate.” Stop defending Nick by saying he tells the truth when you don’t even remember what he said.

I'm not defending anyone- I'm just saying what happened- I know what he said- I saw the match- THAT's was the 'prick worthy' comment I was referring to- that another guy had slept with his new girlfriend. Jeez- all some people want to do is fight!

French Open- PLEASE- ANY BODY but Nadal.....unlikely, but hopeful. I remember when Martina was going for a 10th Wimbledon- press and players were saying it would be bad for the game to have someone dominate that much- it would make everyone else look bad (i.e.- the press, didn't like Martina), but with Rafa- it's complete adoration over his winning 10, then 11 and this year his 12th more than likely.

I like Rafa as competitor, but some of the things he does gets on my nerves, like his constantly slowing down play to perform his little OCD rituals. That's why I'm glad they implemented the serve clock. Djokovic gets on my nerves for the same reason with his obsessive ball bouncing. But Rafa really only clearly dominates at one slam. It's not like he dominates at all four. Federer and Djokovic both have slams that they perform better at than others. For Federer it's Wimbledon and Djokovic it's the Australian Open. Plus Rafa has shown some vulnerability during this clay court season, so while he's definitely the favorite he can definitely be beaten if his opponents stay steady and are able to hold their nerve
