my understanding of it is that yes,it may be a part of the cause
but apparently more so is the heat and explosions of the Eucalyptus/gum trees that send remnants for many miles in various directions

The PM of Australia(Scott Morrison) is a part of the liberal party in Australia? Does liberal mean the same thing there as it does in the US because if so wow this guy is giving the title liberal a reallllly bad reputation.
According to Google the Liberal party of Australia is a center-right party.
