They got used on the site. But yeah, most weren't released. Jump back a couple years when the SCM owner started a strip club in Portland and you'll see a few of them never seen before... There's no doubt the SCM owner has them all.

I would guess the idea of just a photoshoot was used to lure in the models. Posing for pictures seems a lot easier to the average person than having a video of you jerking off let alone doing something sexual with another guy. So the ads are for a photoshoot for a decent sum of $$ then do the pics to show it is not threatening and easy. Get them comfy with being naked, then bring up the option of jerking off.
