Ribbed Briefs

Who remembers all of the various ribbed briefs that were made in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s? I wore the “ribbed whites” from FTL and they were so comfy…..I remember there being ribbed bikinis and ribbed low rise briefs. You don’t see them much if not at all anymore. Wonder why companies stopped making them? Did you wear any? If so, when and what brand/color?

I think the ribbing was to try to make cotton more stretchy... but now they just throw some spandex in the cotton if they want stretch.

Aussiebum makes ribbed underwear. Also, you can check on ebay. I found some cool retro ftl ribbed briefs on there

I had FTL ribbed briefs many years ago. I would buy them again if the reappeared.
