I had my deposition like a month ago. Mark (lawyer) is trying to get the charge lowered. (I think he might be successful, but no guarantees). Additionally, there's supposed to be a deal offered mid July.

The person in question was his boyfriend at the time of his arrest if memory serves correctly.
and if people actually spend a bit time reading the previous posts, they would know the deposition was mentioned in January, it may sound like quite a while ago but it is actually just a few posts earlier on Page 20, but these days people don't have any patience, they usually just read the last page.
He got his fame from Zimmerman acquittal, but I don't think it will happen this time. This one is like the "slam dunk" case for the prosecutors , it's almost certain he will be found guilty, and for that reason, it's in the best interest of both parties to work out a deal if they can. To avoid a long and costly court proceedings, the prosecutors usually will offer some sort of deal, it's up to the defendant and lawyers to accept or negotiate a better one.

If mark gets the charges lower to manslaughter he get a maximum of anyway from 9 to 15 years along with furlough downward departure and good behavior
Manslaughter for stabbing a man in the neck? I echo the previous sentiment. Dude needs to rot for murdering a man who helped several of my gay for pay porn actor friends (not to mention someone who helped him). Bill's death literally put several of them out of work (yes, some did get a job after porn but a sudden death like that is an unexpected shock) and I had to pick them back up by myself. Fuck him, fuck his supporters and other simping idiots hoping for leniency
Oh and fuck his family too for abandoning him and making it the world's problem, and not just letting him fucking die now that he took a man's life.
