they easily have the most chemistry out of all the couples in the show. it’d definitely be a shame if they don’t actually make them a couple, especially considering how much the fans want it.

You’re forgetting the fact that there is already a Gay male character on the show. Who actually had a boyfriend that we’ve seen. Athena‘s ex-husband. Even if it was just a side plot. So I wouldn’t necessarily say “the show won’t go through that guy guy direction” because they have.

i'm pretty sure maddie's boss Josh is gay too, i don't remember him confirming that in any episodes but he def gives off that vibe.
also did u notice in the season 3 premiere, that Christian Keyes was Buck's doctor in the hospital? Ryan gets some great talent on that show, not sure if it's just a cameo or will be recurring but he's hot AF~! I'd buy the video of Christian Keyes giving Buck a full physical haha....if there is one...just sayin....
I like the way you think. Because that could be how Buck and Eddie get together anyway. You’d have Buck who initially a struggle with being bisexual. But then will come to terms with it. And then will start liking the doctor. Eddie will slowly develop feelings for Buck as well and we would see jealousy because this new doctor is taking up his “Buck” time. We all know how this usually works. Especially when it comes to friends. One or the other will develop feelings for the other but the other won’t notice until the other is taking a liking to someone else. And then eventually they’ll discover that they do like their best friend and then the two friends get together in the end. That’s kind of what I’m banking on.
