There are nuanced conversations to be had about traumas, identities, queer presentation, etc. But anyone who thinks a drag queer reading a book to kids is “crossing the line” clearly has some internalized phobias and femme resentments (and if they’re queer they probably have some traumas and insecurities they haven’t confronted). If Ryan is actually a homophobe, then we have a duty to expose his queer side somehow (like we shud be exposing the queer side of every homophobe, who as we all know are internally queer themselves)
