He has explicitly and emphatically stated that he's not trans, is a cisgender male, and had issues with gynocomastia of which he had corrective surgery to remove. It does create similar scars to that of transmen who have had top surgery because, newsflash, it's essentially the same procedure--the removal of breast tissue. You wouldn't call every man who's had this procedure trans, would you?
