MG got rid of content that wasn't filmed by them because they want to put their own personal stamp on the site.

They still have a few ones from 04 but that's it.
Such a damn shame, some of the old stuff still held up over 15 years later.

The other reasons don't make sense either though, if Mindgeek was worried about model verification, they wouldn't have left any scenes from the early years up yet they have.

It makes more sense than deciding to delete over 100 videos of your best content for "their own personal stamp". They're there to make money, so they would only delete those videos if they absolutely had to.

You have to consider they deleted these videos right after the pornhub controversy, which means mindgeek was extremely frightened of anything not being age verified. It would make sense that they could only verify the ages of some of the models, and decided to cut their loses when other models couldn't be contacted rather than potentially get another lawsuit and be in legal trouble.

I can see that. Some of the intake paperwork doesn't get filled out the way it should, the videos in some shoots didn't get signed properly, models seeing an opportunity to get their videos removed, etc. I have noticed some videos are avalible on DVD comps, but not on the site. I don't ever expect them to address this issue.

I know that but even there, I look at some of the videos still up.
They deleted most of the videos with Dylan, yet left the one he did with Garrett aka Joel Drake up.
It's also the only scene of Garrett's still up(even his solo was deleted) despite the fact his age can easily be verified.
I do believe Mindgeek deleted some videos due to the pornhub issue but others makes no sense.
IMO, it was likely a combo of both.
At the end of the day though, I think we can all agree on one thing, those scenes and photos are gone from anywhere but tube/torrent sites etc. and they aren't coming back.
