Can somebody of you tech experts explain why the early videos look a bit "squeezed"? The aspect ratio does not look normal.

Some of the early videos are slightly stretched or squeezed. They were filmed in odd aspect ratios and then poorly converted by the studio to conventional aspect ratios. It's how they've always looked. Use VLC player to view them, you can adjust the video to almost any aspect ratio, and you can generally find the one it was originally shot in.

Nobody feels offended. I even thanked you in my post for posting these videos. I was just curious to know why the aspect ratio was strange. And I am sure cdved957 just wanted to answer my question. Both posts were not meant in any judgemental, entitled Debby Downer way.
