You are absolutely correct. A friend of mine was once “Zack” from CF, and that video was removed even before SC did its Mass removal.

Most of their deleted content can be found on My Vidster or Play Vids so no buying their deletion story they are selling them per scene on other sites rather than putting them on the main site which is unfair.

I should point out that it's really not uncommon for studios to ditch much of their real early catalog. CF & Chaos Men, for example, have done this. This applies to other studios as well. I don't really know why, but an educated guess is something to do with quality. Everything now is in hi-definition and stuff like that, so they probably figured the market isn't there for decades-old scenes that are kind of grainy. Not saying that I agree with it (I don't), but I think that's why it happens.

Here's another thing to consider. While I fully sympathize with fans of the old material who are aching that it's gone, it's also worth pointing out that MG has owned SC for 8 years now. They now have a large library of their own material. If my theory is correct that MG simply wanted to latch onto SC because it was a proven commodity and milk it for all its worth, they (quite simply) don't need to have the old scenes around. Where do you think newer fans are going to look? Do you think they're going to watch new scenes or go back to scenes that were (in some cases) shot before they were even born. Again, I'm not saying I agree with it, but I'm also a big picture thinker. Most of the people who yearn for the better days of yore have already saved what they wanted to and moved on.

Ah I dont agree as they still have the old scenes and are selling them as pay per scene as advertised on on one of the other blogs about 6 months ago. Corbin Fisher who I am long term subscriber on and Chaosmen still have all of their videos with some deletions but defo not as many as Mind Geek have removed and they are not streaming only and I can see that as still have my old collection and compare it to what's on their now. I agree that newer fans start off with the new stuff, but soon realised that the old content is far more superior with far better action.

The problem with your theory is that none of those are paysites. The videos that are on there are probably user uploaded and free.

That's not factually correct. Corbin Fisher and Chaosmen have never done anything like that.

The most they've done is the very targeted removal of videos from a handful of individual models, for specific reasons. Their back catalogs remain available to members.

Many of the videos that SC removed were high definition. I'm not sure why you think they were decades-old and grainy quality. Maybe that would apply for the first couple of years, but 10 years ago, SC was releasing videos with Stu and Abe and Brandon in high-def and all of those videos are gone.

Also, it is interesting that you bring up CF and Chaosmen. CF has not deleted thousands of videos from their archives. As far as I know, they removed a handful of videos for various reasons (I think one model committed suicide, another was killed), but the vast majority of their content is still online as opposed to SC. I don't follow Chaosmen as closely, but I can still search and find videos from 10-15 years ago on the site, so it doesn't look like they have removed much.

Furthermore, both CF and Chaosmen have gone back to remaster their old videos in higher quality formats, so they clearly understand the value of their back catalogue. They keep the old videos because they know they can use them to make money. That's a strong argument for why SC would keep their videos unless they were forced to remove them.

Mind Geek have the films but removed them to make more money on them and they pop up on the torrent site etc. I have heard of the different excused they have made but none stick. And most can be found, I have vast original collection and most of those if you search hard enough for them you can find them easily on the above mention torrents.

I mean, the majority of their classic videos exist on popular tube/streaming sites, so it's not like they've been utterly wiped off the face of the internet, and even the rarer ones can be found with a strategic Google, but you're likely right about the paperwork.

Play Vids is one that I think you dont have to pay for. But the quality is not the best my vidster is far better and is fairly cheap.
