I still remember the last video he did with Chris.
Showed himself to be a heck of a top and it's a shame he didn't come back for more after that.
It is dire, Basically nearly all of sean cody vids before the mindgeek aquisition in 2014 were deleted. this includes many of their most iconic and classic scenes featuring the hottest and most ethusiastic performers and the best shot and edited scenes that the studio ever had. Calvin, Jamie, Jarek, Pavel, Ethan, Noel, Peter, Abe, Stu, Liev, Ashton, Jake, Ryan, Pierce, Joshua, Dennis etc. had all (or nearly all) of their scenes completely deleted.
Many hot moments would have been lost forever if they weren't saved. For example

What actually happened seems pretty clear and not so mysterious.
When Mindgeek took over, they deleted all videos they didn't have clear paperwork for. That meant almost every video from before 2015 vanished overnight one night in December 2020, during the pandemic, when most people had other priorities.
This was at the exact same time as other sites, like Pornhub, were having MAJOR drama with the major credit card companies threatening to drop them. That's clearly why Mindgeek did THE GREAT PURGE.
The company gave some BS claims that they were reorganizing, or something, and that the videos would all return. Nobody believed that, and the videos never returned. Mindgeek probably just hoped the BS excuses would placate people until their attention moved to other things.
Only a handful of us remember the greatness that once was Sean Cody:

Yep, and many people wisely saved favorite videos before the purge, under the assumption that no good thing lasts forever.
The thing is, they also deleted the directory on their site, which listed every video, with photos and previews, and every model, with photos and a bio. Because that resource is gone, you need to know exactly which video you want to see. You can't browse anymore and discover any hot surprises.
Heck, half the time in posts here people don't even know how many total videos a favorite model of theirs made.
I'm grateful someone uploaded that 800 page complete PDF directory of all Sean Cody videos before the purge a while back.

So if what you're saying is so obvious, then I'm dying to know how you explain the fact that pop-up versions of scenes (which were released in 2020) are still on the site, but the original scenes (filmed pre-Mindgeek) are deleted. Go ahead. Let's hear it.
You sure about that? Because I just took a look at the sean cody website. They currently only have 6 pop-up scenes on there right now. All of them are repeating scenes that are still on the website.
For example I checked for the Stu & Blake Pop up scene. GONE.

They were there the last I knew, but I haven't checked in a while.
OK, so here's the deal. On the Sean Cody website, there are only 42 videos available from the first 7 years 2001-2007. A lot of those videos are solos.
all videos from 2008 were completely deleted.
There are 29 videos from the next 5 years 2009-2013.
all videos from 2014 was also completely deleted.
So, from the first 14 years of sean cody, we have less than 100 vids.

Also, The Pornhub scandal and news firestorm happened in early December of 2020, while Sean cody began deleting their vids a few weeks after.
It's very obvious what happened, The timeline lines up too well. The scandal spooked mindgeek, and they realized that the old sean cody vids either didn't have the right documentation or the documentation was lost. So, they bit the bullet and deleted all the vids to make sure to be safe and not sorry.
With this in mind, does anyone know if there are any massive datahoard of all their videos for historical preservation?
