I think you're being way too cynical about this. Right after he tweeted that pic of himself a couple of years ago which started the whole thing, he had an OF under his real name/something close to his real name.

When asked, he talked about having kids with an ex-wife and how his then live-in girlfriend wanted kids and he didn't and it was causing friction in their relationship. The house in his current OF videos has feminine things laying around. I think that's the "partner" he's referring to. But who knows, some people don't believe anything porn actors say.

I joined his OF, if nothing else to give back a little for all the joy he gave me back in the day. He's posted JO videos, probably won't do anything more than that.

Probably make a list of the missing videos? I stopped collecting them regularly around 2013 and then started and stopped irregularly since then (almost completely skipped the past few years because they changed from the original concept of 99% straights), but I have a fairly large collection, especially of the older ones.
