He's one of my favs as well, but it is a short lived career option for most. Their hotness starts to fade, and they lose fans over time. It sounds to me like he's being harassed by some psycho crazy stalkers based on the wording of his post. I don't think any guy is in a good place in their life when they enter the porn industry, so it sounds like he's getting his life together. I wish him well and I wish him peace.

Well, it's tough to make assumptions when we don't know, but if he was harassed by stalkers, then that is unfortunate. Sadly, some people just can't take a hint to leave the models alone.

I don’t know for sure, but I think it’s safe to assume based on the fact that he said he became more popular than he ever thought he would, and it started to cause harm to his personal life.
Sadly, some people have no limits or boundaries. They think that because it’s online, anything goes. This was a big reason why I quit Facebook over three years ago. When I was a student in University, I had someone stalking and harassing me. It got so unnerving, that I actually went to the police. This was long before the days of internet and social media, so I can’t imagine how much worse it is now.
There is no privacy on social media. It's been over ten years since the introduction to it, I figured people would know by now after all the stories, news, geolocations, people getting fired, cancelled, etc.
Clearly there is some amount of it when you can have a private account and can deny access to anyone you don't want following you.
Yes you can add restrictions, but overall you are susceptible on any form period. Porn models, celebrities, influencers, and public figures get the worst of it. It's shitty, but it's been the normal and there's nothing anyone can do besides either accept it or completely get rid of social media.

Actually shed a tear hearing Archie’s retirement. We’re never gonna get another model in porn period who matches his energy and looks. I remember being in shock at how hot of a model they were able to recruit.
Also, it makes me sad how the wording of his statements makes it seem he’s not proud of his career. Him mentioning that he was in a dark place when he first started makes me question a few things. I hope MG/SC didn’t take advantage/manipulate him, and that’s why he’s quitting. And I hope it’s not his friends, family, and love ones shaming him for his work.
