Sean cody

I initially only wanted to make 1 point: Studios, or anyone, should be allowed to create whatever porn they want without being called racist.
What I’m reading is that studios, or anyone, should be able to do whatever they want (ok fine, to an extent) without consequence (this is where you lose me). That’s not how the world works, my friend. If you’re going to exclude all BIPOC based solely on their skin color then that is racist and deserves to be called as such

“liberals” lmao

“diversity” is offensive if you think the only value in a BIPOC is their skin color, to simply tick a box and say alright we featured/hired/respected someone who wasn’t white

I initially only wanted to make 1 point: Studios, or anyone, should be allowed to create whatever porn they want without being called racist. If there is no market for all-white porn, the market will take care of that. If there is a market for inter-racial porn (as their obviously is) someone will fill that need too. As someone who dabbles in diversity in my sex life and my porn habits, I’m happy about that.

Other points…
1. Gayhoopla sucks (not in a good way) because they use condoms.
2. “Whataboutism” is just some word liberals came up with to shut down debate.
3. “Diversity” is an offensive idea. You should want a guy in porn (or your bed) because he’s hot. Not because he represents a certain group.
It's one thing to be a racist/bigot, it's another thing to be so ignorant that you genuinely think you're right.
Like fuck just say the n-word and move on... every single conservative is so fucking stupid it's annoying when one has to explain the same thing over and over again FUCK.

I tend to agree, except diversity isn't an offensive idea. I just don't want skin color to be a determinant for either party in any type of relationship I have with someone.

As it relates to diversity in porn, whether it's studios or independent creators. For me personally, race of the performers don't play a huge role overall. If I find it hot, I'll watch. I'd be lying if I said I didn't skew slightly more to guys that look like me & the guys I grew up around.

I’m sorry you’re angry.

I don’t even know what BIPOC stands for and don’t “enlighten” me. I know it’s just some made-up term to boil a broad group of people with many different traits and perspectives into a single entity. It’s offensive.

There obviously is consequence for Sean Cody’s favoring white performers. The studio obviously isn’t doing as well as it could and, as you said, other studios offering a more diverse lineup of models have become successful. The market always wins!

People complaining about "racism in the industry" are simply ignorant of the changing preferences of porn viewers.
I agree that folk's preferences are changing and we're seeing that reflected in the content that creators are putting out. I also think that there are entrenched biases in the industry that are patently false and rooted in prejudice and laziness. Porn is changing in spite of the industry as a lot of the old guard falls away.

I did appreciate it when Sean Cody showcased models of color. Their Black and Latino models weren't classified as "thugs" and their Asian models weren't all submissive (mostly). That said, their Black models were more likely to top and their Asian models more likely to bottom.

Landon, Chad, Marten (from the earlier days), Phillip II, Glenn, Benjamin III, Alexander III, Robert, etc. were some really attractive guys to me. They also published some really great solos that featured Black, Latino, and Asian (few and far between) models. These men met Sean Cody's level of quality while also not being white. It was possible. I wish we saw more of that during the golden years.
