I read the entire page. Many words float around a population and die out without being sanctioned by a dictionary. This one got traction because certain people like to throw stones from glass houses. They like to call out behavior they don’t like with being confronted with their own similar behavior.The word actually dates back to at least the 1990s - I'll leave it to you to actually read the webpage I cited. And saying that the word is "made up" doesn't negate the fact that it's still a very real thing people do when they know they're losing an argument.
