I don’t understand the fascination with watching people react to things. Why not just watch the movie yourself and have your own reaction?
I've seen the movies/programmes etc prior to, so I often wonder if other people see the things I pick up on, or if there is something that I missed... also to see if people are moved/unmoved by the same things I am

Similar for me. I only watch reactions to shows and movies that I have already watched myself (and to music that I enjoy or books that I've read). I like to hear other peoples' takes and see if they pick up on things I've missed.
I also find it entertaining to watch others react favorably to something I enjoy (or negatively to something I dislike). I guess I enjoy getting my fair share of affirmation. There are only so many people I can push to watch a full new show or movie but I can browse through lots of reactors on YouTube.

bro
Thanks, I'll check it out. Other male reactors worth watching include Cam&Zay, RolyPolyOllie, White Noise Reacts, and MovieFusion. Cam's reaction to The Thing was hysterical, but don't judge them based on that--they did several good reaction videos before that. Ollie may initially come across as...well, kinda dumb, but he's not, he's just a bit awkward, but his analysis of the movies he watches is detailed and mostly spot on. WNR reactions are rather long and an investment of your time, and James talks too much over the movie, but their analysis is intelligent and I still like them (for now). If you like seeing guys get emotional in their reactions, check out the Reel Rejects reactions to Inside Out and Schindler's List. Another reactor who sometimes gets emotional but seems genuine in his reactions is Liam Duke, but I've only seen his reactions to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly. [Actually, Liam's reaction to Buffy's "The Body" (one of the best episodes of television EVER) is probably what got me into reaction videos in the first place. Sadly, at present Liam isn't watching any shows that interest me, so I haven't watched him in a long time.]

I'm sure I'm forgetting at least one person and I'll feel bad later when I remember who he/they are.
bro Movie Fusion is terrible, just check his twitter you’ll see..

I don't use Twitter. What's the issue? As far as reaction videos go, his can be a bit boring--he doesn't have the most dynamic personality--but sometimes it's fun to watch his jaw drop.

His reaction to Disney's Princess and the Frog has him having some absent-minded "bicurious" moments, especially with the men w/ big butt parts.

"He's kind thicc tho... we're all lying if we're not thinking..."

think hes kinda done with baiting now

Well, not entirely, but he's toned it down and is doing it less often, and he's begun commenting on attractive women, but usually only if they are presented in an overtly sexual way. For example, his recent Green Lantern reaction:

Otherwise, he doesn't seem to notice women much. In the Green Lantern reaction, he commented on Ryan Reynolds several times, and brought up Chris Evans a few times. He said one weird thing about Ryan, "I swear there's not a man on this planet who wouldn't want to husband him up." I just thought the phrasing was odd.

hmmm dont think so but yeah i only meant with his pics and stuff there was a hot minute he was doing it all the time then nothing

This thread just gave me the ick. You're all gross. Desperately seeking the validation of straight men, and desperately wanting any male YouTuber that you are attracted to to be gay. Here's a newsflash, he can come out tomorrow and say he's gay. Big cock lover. That wouldn't change the fact that he's never going to fuck you. His sexuality has nothing to do with that.

"He's queerbaiting!"

Sorry, you can find men attractive and not be a homosexual. Thinking someone is good looking is a far cry from genuinely wanting to have sex with them. The fact it genuinely hurts y'all's feelings when someone brings up the fact that he's a straight man doing a bit, is a sign you all need THERAPY! Here's a man who started out as an ally, being pushed out of that role bc you all can't separate real life from the internet.

Erm, he's insinuated he wants to be fucked by men, among other things. That goes a little bit beyond "thinking someone is good looking". So before you throw accusations around, you might want to research your subject matter a little better

insinuated he wants to be fucked by men
I'm gonna need a source for that, lol. But mikasasucasa has a point, its hardly surprising that he might step back from the supportiveness and jokes if the only response he seems to get is basically "oh yeah you're really gay/ queer-baiting".

You have this the wrong way round. He was accused of queer baiting after his behaviour changed. He would make gay insinuations left right and centre, then refuse to actually discuss his sexuality. Someone who wants their sexuality to be private doesn't make suggestive comments about other men every 10 seconds, then suddenly start making sexual comments about women out of nowhere. His behaviour is just odd, and that's what people call out.

I get what you're saying dude, maybe I phrased it badly before, but what i was trying to say is that I dont think it's surprising that he might have stopped doing it. For me and you it probably just seems like the odd comment here and there, but I wouldn't be surprised if to him it feels like a wave of these questions that he might not be comfortable dealing with, so him retreating from those jokes to him might feel like a way to deflect those comments. IDK if that makes any sense, maybe its just me lol.

not only that he might have been flooded by a bunch of creeps in the dms which is very likely cause a lot of people dont know what is an appropriate way to approach someone. to me personally he is a good looking dude that i dont mind seeing more of whenever i get the chance. i dont care whether he is gay or not cause thats irrelevant.

at about 16:30. I would assume that is a little bit more than just a 'str8' guy admiring another man's physique and that's just one of the many examples. In fact I don't know how anyone can say something like that and claim to be str8 after that. Until very recently he didn't make any comments about women at all, and they seem rather fake at best. So to me the choice is between him being bi or gay and closeted. What's more probable: that an actual straight guy would make a comment about literally wanting to get fucked by other dude or that a gay guy afraid of being found out would start to make some thirst comments about girls all of a sudden to cover up? Seems to me the answer is rather obvious.
