Are you serious? Have you ever survived sexual assault? Have the majority of people you know survived sexual assault? How dare you say in the "vast majority of cases" a woman can fully recover/heal from damage done.

I am also not referring to cases where the genitals were intentionally mutilated, that is a different case which should indeed have the death penalty if confirmed accurate.
Practically every woman I know has been sexually assaulted when they were younger usually by their fathers who in most cases still walk free, the bastards.
Its seems every other woman I meet brings up being sexually abused by male relatives. Its an epidemic of abuse we have on our hands.
If what they say to me is true that is, which I do not see why it would not be. I accept what they tell me in good faith.

The only point I make there is that castration or genital harm of a man is far too severe a punishment as it goes beyond the actual abuse as it is permanent and un-healable.
Men should be punished for rape but not in that severe of a manner.

Practically everyone on this planet is perverse to some degree or another, its just some forms are currently "socially acceptable" and some are not. What you described is actually an huge difference between "normal" child absusers and most pedos. Pedos are not just attracted to children, they feel love for them like normal men love women thus they don't want to hurt them. Of course there are others, just like men rape adult women. Some men are simply assholes, pedo or not. Non-pedo child abuse is about power and just getting off plus children are way easier rape targets than adult women. They don't care for their victims feelings or if they get hurt in the process. Like I already said, pedophilia is actually a real psychic disorder just like shizophrenia or whatever. However, I disagree about the rape victims fully recovering. While physically this may be true, psychologically speaking that's definitely not the case. @MisterB I am only referring to physical damage done and the correct punishment for rapists in cases where it was rape and not intentional genital mutilation of the victim. I am not in any way referring to the psychological factors that linger. I should have made that more clear in my earlier post. All the women I know who were victims of rape fully physically recovered, there was not permanent physical damage only psychological damage that lingered.

I accept your point of view. But if you commit a crime you have to live with the consequences. Still totally support chemical castration. Even more so since I knew a girl who commited suicide after being raped. So if you think chemical castration is worse than rape we should agree to disagree. Like I said, only 100% waterproof cases. But maybe some idiots would think twice, unlike now since the punishment for rape is way too soft right now.
