Its availible on Netflix, the US version on the other hand is Not availible on Netflix due to showtimes contract with cable networks to exclusively show original shows on demand.

Yep, Carl is still on the show. He and Frank are the only Gallaghers remaining as everyone else has left. I've only watched 1-3 so I'm not looking forward to seeing more characters leave.

It was from last season, season 3 and it was early on...maybe the third or fourth episode. To answer the other person's question about what happened after he was forced to watch...that's a big part of the storyline...so I think you should just find out yourself by watching the series.
