Honestly, you’re speaking for yourself, because I believe him when he says he’s straight. I really don’t understand why there’s so much pressure on him. In the end, only he knows who he is and how he feels, and others don’t get to decide that for him. Even if, hypothetically, he were gay but didn’t want to admit it, that would still be his choice, and it’s definitely not a reason to doubt what he says publicly. You and others in the LGBT community should be the first to understand how important it is to respect what someone says about their identity. No one likes having their words about themselves questioned, and this kind of attitude only reinforces stereotypes. We should just respect what he says and let him express his identity how and when he chooses
